What Should I Bring?

Since I've gotten accepted, I have been thinking about what things I should bring with me. I know I want to move into Vista apartments for several great reasons. Firstly, Vista is the cheapest apartments of all three. Vista also is closest to the shopping and other good places which is really important since I do not drive. A major plus is that the buses seem to be more convenient to catch at Vista.  There are only the cons of it being known as a party apartment and noisy but, I'll have to take my chances since the pros far outweigh the cons for me.  So back to what should I pack? So far I know I'll need:
Bedding ( sheets, comforter, pillow cases)
Pillows
Towels (wash and bath)
Hygiene products
T.V
Laptop
Combination Lock
Mp3 player
Bath Rugs
Money
Blender
Toaster
Mixer
Baking stuff
Ethernet cord
Phone
Important Information
Shoes
Shirts
Capris
Jeans
Light Jacket
Dresses

I cannot think of anything else I may need to remember but I'm sure my list will get longer as I go along. Now I know you are probably thinking why would I have a mixer and caking stuff on the list. Well, I love baking but specialty cupcakes are my specialty and I always want to try new recipes or ideas so if I ever get the chance to try out a new idea then I want to be prepared. Another problem for me is finding summer clothes in the middle of fall/winter. So  this should be both a challenge and an adventure. As of right now, I'm checking out all of the clearance sales all the stores are having and finding some cute things at a great deal. Nothing else major is happening except for boring school and dreaming of Disney.

84 Days!!!!!

That's right, 84 days. To what, you ask? Well since you asked so nicely, I'll let you know. 84 full days until I get to spend 4 months at the most magical place on earth!!! Hence the title. Impossible, you say? Well, I guess I have to tell you the whole story then. Two years ago I was a single Mom with a beautiful baby girl. So I did what most mom's do and aspired to take her to Disney. We were able to take two trips before she died in April of 2010. My baby girl had a rare childhood cancer and while she was living we shared a love for everything Disney. Both times we went, my baby was treated like a little princess and Disney did everything possible to make her final trip special. Our last trip was a month before she passed. She was in so much pain but for that week, she was able to be a child again. After my baby passed, I was an emotional wreck, and wanted nothing to do with Disney. It was filled with too many painful memories but slowly but surely the love my daughter and I held came back. I decided to go back for the anniversary of our last trip, but God and little Mya had other plans for me. I had just enrolled at Community College. One day, while going to pick up a textbook, I saw the sign for Disney's College Program on my campus. Immediately, I went home and looked up all the info I could on it on my computer. I signed up for it that night and got the notice saying I received a phone interview. That's when, I started to get apprehensive. Should I really go? Is this what the Lord has for me? I decided to go ahead with the phone interview and leave the rest in God's hands. I called the number and my inter view was for two days later. All the way up to the interview, I was in between being extra excited and worrying out of my mind. What if I didn't make the cut? It would be so cool to go!!

The night finally arrived and I honestly don't even remember anything said during the interview. All  I remember is that I made sure I sounded happy  and perky over the phone and made sure I let my love for Disney shine through. The interviewer kept saying great and terrific throughout the interview so I knew I did okay. After the interview was over, I knew it would be at least a three week wait so imagine my surprise when 6 days later, I get a letter saying I was invited an a quick service food and beverage cm and would I please accept or decline? I almost missed my deadline to accept due to issues with the 100 dollars acceptance fee but finally accepted on the 20th of October and am arriving on the 19th of January. This is a blog where I will be sharing all my experiences of before and after Disney life. Will there be a difference. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
